Privacy
The short version: we don't use advertising cookies or trackers, we don't sell data, and you can read the whole site without giving us any personal information.
Who we are
Sleepmaxx (sleepmaxx.org) is an independent educational publication.
What we collect
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and understand which articles are read. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not build a profile of you. It records information such as the page visited, the referring site, and approximate country and device type.
Hosting logs
Our site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Your preferences
If you switch between night and day reading modes, your choice is saved in your own browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device.
Tools
Our calculators run entirely in your browser. The values you enter are not sent to us or stored anywhere.
What we don't do
- No advertising, affiliate or social media tracking cookies.
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
- No newsletter or account sign-ups at present. If we add a newsletter, it will be opt-in, and we will update this page first.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and California law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to complain to a data protection authority. We don't hold any personal data about readers ourselves. Information processed by Cloudflare is covered by Cloudflare's privacy policy, linked above.
